Alcohol & Drug Assessments
The Assessment:
An alcohol and drug assessment can add vital evidence to your case. Our alcohol and drug assessments are multidimensional, which covers all six dimensions per the “American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). They have guaranteed acceptance, as our evaluators are licensed, certified, qualified, and experienced.
Requirements:
The requirements include payment, a photo ID, your signature for consent to participate, release of information (ROI), court official’s contact information, and assessment interview.
The Interview:
The assessment interview is a virtual meeting that, conducted by a substance abuse counselor or other mental health professional. This non-counseling meeting is a 50 to 60-minute interview, designed to be thorough and individualized, allowing professionals to formulate a comprehensive understanding of your substance use and related concerns, through personal interview and assessment tools.
The Results:
The mental health professional will discuss the results of the assessment with you, and based on the severity of the substance use, related behaviors, and other factors, make recommendations for education and/or treatment. The standard completion time for an alcohol and drug evaluation is 3-5 business days.
The Referral:
At Champions Behavioral Health, PLLC, we pride ourselves on the fact that we never recommend treatment to someone who does not need it. We are not associated with any treatment facilities, therefore, we are unbiased in your evaluation, and have no incentive to refer out for additional services.
